Written September 2025, during INSEAD's Venture Lab — before the diagnostic found its final shape. This is where CultureLensAI's official announcement started. Kept for the record, unedited in substance.
Most "trend trackers" today spit out hashtags, mentions, or sentiment charts. That's data, but not intelligence. It misses the emotional layer — the way people actually feel about a message, a meme, a competitor, or a cultural moment.
That's what I'm designing CultureLens AI to solve. I'm building it for strategists, agencies, and founders who need to understand market emotion in real time — not just what's trending, but how it lands across identities, generations, and cultural contexts.
What I'm Designing It to Do
Other tools log keywords. I'm building CultureLens AI to read the emotional room.
- Identity-tuned: designed to pick up signals through neurodivergent, racial, and generational lenses.
- Culturally contextual: meant to map memes and narratives by their cultural gravity, not just volume.
- Emotionally literate: developed to detect not just sentiment shifts, but the tone behind them — whether the mood is hopeful, cynical, playful, or defensive.
Inside the Engine (In Development)
My vision for CultureLens AI was a "zeitgeist reader" with emotional intelligence at its core:
- Competitor monitoring — surfacing how rivals are received, not just what they say.
- Cultural trend and meme mapping — tracking micro-moments as they grow into movements.
- Emotional snapshots — AuDHD/ND-friendly dashboards that avoid cognitive overload.
- Brand voice alignment — measuring whether messaging resonates, or misses.
- Identity-aware flagging — catching blind spots before they blow up.
The Emotional Intelligence Layer
This was the part meant to make CultureLens AI more than a dashboard:
- Trauma-aware flagging — prompts and filters to highlight where messaging risks harm.
- Soft-luxury outputs — insights as visually refined as they are precise.
- Inclusive by design — elevating diverse perspectives without tokenism.
- ND-safe summaries — clear, low-friction takeaways, even with dense data.
Why It Mattered
Because the world doesn't need AI that plays pretend with feelings. It needs AI that can read market emotion and reflect back cultural insight with emotional literacy.
That was the line I drew, in September 2025, with CultureLens AI. What it became — a diagnostic that scores whether a brand's language still sounds like itself, built on GlowEngine™'s three-layer method — is the sharper version of the same instinct. Not a different company. The same question, asked more precisely.
